Bedrock cabinet CAD model
Bedrock cabinet design files in Onshape

Bedrock is the low-frequency extension project within 3SB Audio.

It was developed to complement Keystone in medium-to-large rooms where additional bass headroom, extension, and acoustic scale are required.

Program Role

Bedrock is not intended as a generic subwoofer. It is designed as a project-specific bass module that preserves the cardioid low-frequency strategy and channel-based active topology used elsewhere in the portfolio.

Architecture

The branch uses front and rear woofer arrays with DSP-managed delay and polarity relationships to shape low-frequency directivity.

In logical terms the module behaves as a two-way cardioid bass system, even though the physical implementation uses multiple drivers.

Integration

Bedrock follows the same architecture pattern as the wider portfolio: dedicated amplifier channels, explicit DSP control, and a modular electronics stack that can be deployed per speaker.

Design Reference

Bedrock cabinet development is maintained in Onshape as a reference model for CNC-oriented enclosure construction and iterative geometry changes. The published model documents current intent rather than a final manufacturing release.
